The Eli Project- Rebuilding our lives from sudden loss while reaching out to others.

Hello. We are Erick and Susan Boyer. The Eli Project was born out of the loss of our son, Elijah. On May 2, 2022, at 5:45 pm our lives changed forever. Elijah was gone- death by suicide. The shock and grief changed our lives, the lives of his five siblings and family. We were immediately surrounded by family and friends.
After the services were done, life returned to normal. Not so much for us. The quiet of the house, the waves of grief, and all the unanswered why's left us searching for those who understood the depth of our loss.
We want to be there for others that have suffered this loss, also. The quiet will come and it is deafening. The mission is to connect and let you know- You are not alone.
We live in northern Georgia, but grief does not know boundaries. While The Eli Project will be hands on in our community, community can be found here, also.
If you are hurting and need an ear, a prayer, or to read an encouraging word, we are here. Please reach out. This site will evolve as we go through- not get over-grieving our son.
